Well Water Method

The key elements are:

  1. Identification of source

  2. Qualitative and quantitative research

  3. Strategy development & Goal identification

  4. Education systems

  5. Protection and guidelines for best practices

This is a still developing methodology and analogy for navigating systems design through the lens of the creative process.

Originally developed to encourage the use of design thinking methodologies with clients, it has grown into something much bigger with system design. Used as a guideline and a checklist, the well-water method provides language and reference for the creative process to emphasize the importance of research, groundwork, and planning necessary for the success of sustainable systems.

Not every system is the same, and not every system needs to be developed so extensively (or from scratch), but having an understanding that each of these pieces are in place before a product launch, or public announcement of a business plan increase the likelihood of success.
