Service Design for Program Development

In Progress

To provide consistent and high quality online programming at the University of Utah, we are working to increase the capacities of internal teams at University Connected Learning at the University of Utah by defining processes, integrating data analytics as a service throughout, planning and automating communications between stakeholders, and standardizing requirements for development.

The Well Method

A systemic approach to nearly everything, the well is an ever-evolving philosophy for problem seeking, framework crafting, and solution guiding.

An idea that started as a way to encourage clients to think beyond what’s right in front of them, The Well Method has shown to be an effective way to structure and manage complex problems. Encouraging patience and engagement throughout project development, it’s a strong communication tool to help shift thinking towards systems focus.

Surplus to Scarcity

One point four billion pounds is a lot of cheese.

An exploration of how trans-industrial cooperation could begin to shift the negative impact experienced by people and animals throughout the dairy production process, and how the exorbitant stockpile of processed cheese might be repurposed to support surrounding communities.

Faculty Work

Examples of curriculum development, workbook production, and student work from Design Thinking lectures, Design Foundations workshops, and (Experience as) Product studio courses in the University of Utah’s Multi-Disciplinary Design program.

SL Creative

A decentralized creative agency working to challenge the traditional, top-down agency model through expanded community engagement, creative problem solving, and high quality visual communications.

  • Reliant on a core group of freelancers, I prioritized fair prices for clients and fair wages for creatives. Systems thinking at the business level alloweed the team to excel at what they’re really passionate about, all while delivering top-notch results.
